 | | LONDON (SHARECAST) - Broadband group TalkTalk has signed a deal with Vodafone to launch a mobile service under its own brand.
TalkTalk, which demerged from Caprhone Warehouse in March, said it will offer contract mobile voice and data tariffs later in the summer.
The group also updated the market on quarterly figures. It added 34,000 net new broadband customers in the quarter, taking the total base to 4.231 million.
Broadband revenue grew year-on-year to £301m from £200m last year, reflecting the acquisition of Tiscali and the continuing steady improvement in broadband ARPU.
TalkTalk is on track to deliver full-year results in line with its guidance, including delivering 6-8% revenue growth, and 20% growth in normalised earnings per share and dividends per share.
